Background on Kibibi's familyNadhari, meaning “vision” in Swahili, is a gentle lioness with mysterious air about her. She was born of two rogue lions, thusly having no relation with any pride. During one of her journeys, she temporarily visited a pride where the heir to the throne, Ashura, courted her. Initially, Nadhari did not reciprocate his interest until he defended her from another rogue lion. They began to go out of night-walks and stargazing; Ashura told her of their ancestors, who guided their paws when they were in need.Ashura, which means “friend” or “one who accompanies” in Swahili, is the strong and silent type, always supportive of Nadhari’s decisions. He was originally the chosen heir of an obscure pride. However, Nadhari made a brief visit the pride’s territory where Ashura met and fell head–over–heels for her. Because of her reluctance to stay in his pride, he resolved to become a rogue; a decision his father and king was not pleased wit
